Can Porcelain Veneers Be Done in 1–2 Days?
How One-Day CERANATE Works
Yes, if your teeth are suitable. One-Day CERANATE at Ceramic Dental Clinic (Hakdong Station, Gangnam) takes 2 visits over 1–2 days. If your first visit is in the morning, your veneers are finished that evening; otherwise they are finished the next day. It is designed for people with a short schedule, such as patients coming from abroad. Whether you can have it is decided after the exam: if your teeth or gums need other treatment first, that time is added.
How does the schedule work?
| Your first visit | When it is finished |
|---|---|
| Weekday morning | The same evening (2nd visit) |
| Weekday afternoon | The next day (2nd visit) |
| Saturday (open 10:00–14:00) | The next clinic day, Monday (2nd visit) |
We are open until 9 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and until 7 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and closed on Sundays and public holidays.
What happens at each visit?
Visit 1
- Consultation, photos, X-rays and an intraoral scan.
- An orthodontist and a periodontist check your tooth position and gum line, and decide how many teeth to treat and how much to reshape.
- No-prep or minimal-prep is decided tooth by tooth, and the veneers are designed in 3D.
Visit 2
- We try the veneers in your mouth and compare 6 shades before bonding.
- We bond them one by one, then refine the bite and the margins.
How is One-Day different from the other types?
| Type | Who it suits | Visits |
|---|---|---|
| One-Day | A short schedule, such as patients coming from abroad | 2 visits over 1–2 days |
| The Art | Thinner veneers with natural translucency | 2 visits over about 1 week |
| The Petit | A bigger change in color and shape | 2 visits over about 1 week |
For all three, we first consider no-prep or minimal-prep for each tooth, and the assessment before bonding is the same. One-Day is made with rapid fabrication, then translucent layers are added by hand.
How much does it cost?
One-Day CERANATE is KRW 770,000 per tooth, including VAT (The Art KRW 770,000, The Petit KRW 550,000). The price is the same for no-prep and minimal-prep. It includes 3D design, shade matching, bite adjustment, the 2-week check-up and regular check-ups, and the exam fee (KRW 50,000, or KRW 100,000 with a CT scan) is included in the treatment fee once you start. The number of teeth is decided at diagnosis, and we tell you the total in writing before you start. International and Korean patients pay the same fees. See our dental costs.
What should I plan for after bonding?
- Leave 1–2 spare days after the final bonding before your flight.
- The check-up about 2 weeks after bonding can be done by photo on WhatsApp. We see you in person on your next visit to Korea.
- If a veneer chips or comes off after you go home, send us a photo first. Repair or remaking needs a visit. Aftercare terms and costs differ by CERANATE type and are explained before treatment.
When is One-Day not possible?
- When orthodontics, whitening or gum treatment needs to come first.
- When the cause of a gummy smile, severe grinding, or large cavities or cracks need to be addressed first.
- When your schedule leaves no spare day before your flight.
What are the limits and risks?
- Reshaped teeth cannot be returned to their original state.
- Veneers can chip, come off or feel sensitive for a while.
- Staining or gum inflammation can appear at the margin; regular check-ups are needed.
- Results, the number of visits and schedules vary from person to person.
