How Many Days Do You Need in Korea
for Veneers, Crowns or Implants?

Medically reviewed by Dr. Sunmin Kim, Board-certified Orthodontist · Last updated 2026-10-22

The number of days you need in Korea depends almost entirely on the treatment. Veneers and crowns can often be finished in one trip, while implants usually need more than one. This article explains how many days to plan for each treatment and why you should leave buffer days.

The treatment decides the length of your stay

Treatments that can often be finished in one stay

Veneers and crowns can often be completed in a single trip, as long as the plan is confirmed in advance and no other treatment, such as gum treatment, is needed first.

Treatments that usually need longer or more trips

Implants need time for the bone to heal before the final crown, so most patients come more than once. Orthodontic treatment also takes months and needs regular visits.

Typical schedule for veneers at our clinic

  • Standard veneers: two visits, usually about one week apart.
  • One-day veneers: two visits over one to two days, depending on the condition of your teeth (preparation in the morning, bonding the same evening or the next day).
  • The first consultation with X-rays and photos takes about 30 to 40 minutes.
  • We check the gums, bite and edges about two weeks after bonding; if you have flown home, we can review photos on WhatsApp or LINE.

The number of teeth and the amount of preparation are decided at the examination, so the schedule can change.

How to plan your stay

Treatment days plus buffer days

After the final bonding, we recommend keeping one to two buffer days before your flight home, in case the bite or shade needs adjusting.

Sightseeing

Plan sightseeing around your appointments, not the other way round, and keep the day after preparation light.

Why leave extra time?

  • Shade or fit may need a small adjustment
  • Teeth can feel sensitive for the first few days
  • Lab work can take longer if the design changes

Before you book flights

Send us photos of your teeth on WhatsApp or LINE for a preliminary consultation. An accurate diagnosis is only possible after we examine your teeth and bite in person, but photos help us suggest a realistic schedule.
