Veneers in Korea Cost
Price per Tooth and What Your Quote Should Include

Medically reviewed by Dr. Sunmin Kim, Board-certified Orthodontist · Last updated 2026-10-22

If you are thinking about veneers in Seoul, the first question is usually simple: how much do veneers cost in Korea, per tooth and in total? This article gives our clinic's standard veneer price in Korean won and US dollars, explains why the total changes so much with the number of teeth, and lists what a fair quote should include.

How much are veneers in Korea per tooth?

At Ceramic Dental Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, our porcelain veneers (we call them CERANATE) are made from IPS e.max ceramic. Our standard fee is:

Prices in US dollars are approximate, converted at USD 1 = KRW 1,326 (exchange rate on 2026-10-22). Fees are the clinic's standard list prices and are the same for Korean and international patients. Your final quote is given after an in-person examination.
TreatmentPrice per tooth (KRW, VAT included)Approx. USD
Porcelain veneer (CERANATE, IPS e.max)KRW 550,000 – 770,000about $415 – $581

The range depends on the material and the lab work your case needs. Veneers are a cosmetic treatment in Korea, so 10% VAT applies, and the prices above already include it. Korea's VAT refund scheme for foreign medical tourists has ended, so there is no VAT refund at the airport.

Why the number of teeth matters more than the price per tooth

Veneers can be placed on one or two front teeth, or on every tooth that shows when you smile. That is why the total changes far more with the number of teeth than with small differences in the per-tooth price.

  • For one or two teeth, the saving compared with home may be cancelled out by flights and hotel costs.
  • For six to ten front teeth, the difference in the total is usually easier to notice.
  • Compare the total trip cost: treatment, flights, accommodation and the days you need to stay.

How many teeth you need is decided by what shows when you smile and how far you want to match the color. We check this on a 3D design before you decide.

What changes the price of veneers?

How much tooth preparation your case needs

Some cases need light preparation of the tooth surface, and some need very little. The steps and materials differ, and so can the fee. Which approach suits you depends on the position, thickness and color of your teeth, and it can only be decided after an examination. Please do not choose a method only because it is cheaper.

What is included in the quote

What a quoted price covers varies from clinic to clinic. When you compare quotes, check:

  • whether consultation, impressions and bonding are included;
  • what happens if a veneer chips or comes off, and how long that cover lasts;
  • how the clinic handles problems after you fly home, and when a return visit is needed.
Tip: Compare veneers by the total, not just "price per tooth". A clinic that explains each line of the quote clearly is easier to trust.

Why are veneers in Korea often more affordable, and how do you judge quality?

Gangnam has many cosmetic dental clinics, with skills and equipment concentrated in one area, and there is price competition. But a low price alone tells you nothing about quality. Ask:

  • Which ceramic will be used, and why?
  • How many similar cases has the dentist treated, and how careful was the consultation?
  • Is the aftercare policy written down?
  • Did the clinic explain the downsides and limits of veneers honestly?

Veneers can chip or come off, stains or decay can form at the edges, and teeth can feel sensitive for the first few days or longer. If the gums recede over time, the edge may become visible and a veneer may need to be remade. Results and side effects differ from person to person.

Frequently asked questions

How much do veneers cost in Korea per tooth?
At our clinic in Gangnam, a porcelain veneer costs KRW 550,000 to 770,000 per tooth including VAT, about $415 to $581 at the 2026-10-22 rate (USD 1 = KRW 1,326). The total depends on how many teeth are treated, which we confirm after an examination.
Are veneers cheaper in Korea than in the US, UK or Australia?
Many patients find the per-tooth price lower in Korea, but fees vary by clinic, material and case. Compare the total, including flights, accommodation and the number of teeth, rather than the per-tooth price alone.
Do foreigners pay more for veneers in Korea?
Not at our clinic. International patients pay the same standard fees as Korean patients. The VAT refund scheme for foreign medical tourists has ended, so VAT is not refunded.
Is a cheaper veneer lower quality?
Price alone does not show quality. Check the material, the dentist's experience, the aftercare policy and how carefully the consultation explains risks. Whether veneers suit you depends on your teeth and needs an examination.
