1Day Implant
Faster, more comfortable implant surgery!
At Ceramic Dental Clinic, extraction, implant placement, and attachment of a temporary prosthesis can be done in 1 day.
What Is a 1Day (same-day immediate) Implant?
In conventional implant surgery, the implant is placed about 3-6 months after the tooth is extracted.
Thanks to advances in implant placement techniques, as long as the bone around the tooth to be replaced is not severely damaged,
the implant can now be placed and a temporary prosthesis attached on the day of extraction, reducing the burden of waiting several months after extraction for implant surgery.
| Conventional Implant | Same-Day Implant | |
|---|---|---|
| Treatment Process | Extraction → Gum healing → Implant placement → Temporary prosthesis → Final prosthesis | Extraction · Gum healing · Implant placement · Temporary prosthesis → Final prosthesis |
※ The treatment period may vary depending on the condition of each person's gum bone.
Features of the 1DAY Implant at Ceramic Dental Clinic
Surgery performed by the Director, with extensive know-how
Surgery is performed by an SNU-trained Director.
Shorter Treatment Period
Extraction, implant placement, and temporary prosthesis attachment are done on the same day, shortening treatment time.
High Functional and Esthetic Quality
The implant can be placed where the natural tooth originally was, giving excellent functional and esthetic results.
Natural Gum Line
After extraction, the alveolar bone resorbs over time. Placing the implant on the same day minimizes this bone resorption and helps form a natural gum line.
Who Is a Candidate for Same-Day Implants
1Day Implant has the advantage of greatly reducing patient discomfort, but it is not suitable for every case and can be used only when the alveolar bone is in good condition.
If the alveolar bone is in poor condition, the implant can be placed after bone grafting.
When there is little alveolar bone damage and little need for bone grafting · When the remaining gum bone (alveolar bone) is strong · When gum inflammation is not severe
